What's presented here is the culmination of three different drift events that took place at USAir Motorsports Raceway in lovely Shawano, Wisconsin in the summer of 2025. Rio Bash, Scrapeyard Friendship Cup 3 and ClubFR's season closer. Rio Bash is a celebration of life and a reminder to everyone to check in on our friends and enjoy our time with them. Scrapyard brings the dreams of middle America to the forefront of style, creativity and determination. ClubFR's story is one of perseverance and accommodation with over 20 years and hundreds of events hosted that inspire the world at large. So get comfy and settle in for what I hope is an experience worthy of your time, I did my best to make it so. Every video title comes from how it makes me feel when it's done and this one made me feel great thinking about the bond we share in our little community.

In this episode, we head to Osaka for a firsthand look at the Kanjo car culture and its roots! The Kanjo scene began in Osaka in the late ’80s and ’90s with the Kanjozoku, street racers who tore up the Hanshin Expressway Loop, also known as the Kanjo Loop, in Honda Civics (EF, EG, EK). These cars weren’t just for show, many were tracked by day and raced the Loop by night. Lightweight, nimble, and built for function, Kanjo Civics were stripped-down, loud, and tuned for tight highway battles. The raw style, stenciled liveries, and underground vibes still influence builds all around the world today.

In its dynamic debut on camera, the concept, build and performance of the sensational Tuthill Porsche 911K is revealed in this adrenaline-packed new film from Collecting Cars. This lightweight bespoke sports car uses a vast amount of carbon-fibre to keep weight to a minimum, while a 3.1-litre flat-six engine with a rev limit of 11,000rpm produces around 350bhp, giving it an incredible power-to-weight ratio.

With a furious soundtrack and visceral driving experience as the rev counter needle spins towards 11,000rpm, its maker Richard Tuthill likens the purist character of the car to “a four-wheeled motorbike”. What’s more, with some versions of the latest Porsche 911 now tipping the scales at 1,700kg, the Tuthill 911K at just 846kg represents an astonishing achievement at just half the weight.

Richard Tuthill has already been quoted as stating that the 911K could be made even lighter with more extreme weight-saving; potentially even below the 800kg mark – so it seems that this new take on what a lightweight Porsche can be has a very exciting future for enthusiasts.

Join me as I try to set the uphill and downhill record with my freshly tuned up S54 swapped E36. I was dealing with some misfiring issues in the last video. I ended up spending the rest of the rain season fixing the misfire at low RPM. Replaced every throttle position sensor, pedal, MAF, ITB actuator and plugged a small hole in the plenum. Long story short it works now.

Two AE86 vs. One Nissan Skyline GT-R34

This is the extremely rare 1987 Pluspy The Touge. Featuring a 30 year old Keiichi Tsuchiya already the Drift King but not yet a legend. It was only ever available through two methods buy it through the tuning shop +P(Pluspy) of Kanagawa or order it via Carboy magazine. This VHS was outlawed in Japan for showing illegal street racing and as such all copies of it were removed from stores and destroyed leaving very few still in existence. Keiichi Tsuchiya himself lost his JAF racing license for participating in this films creation and has tried to distance himself from association with it, making it extremely unlikely there will ever be a better quality version released.

This is a VHS rip from my personal copy. The 60fps is not a "smooth motion" trick. It was done by deinterlacing the original interlaced frames with QTGMC in AviSynth. A few other cleanups such as SMDegrain were also done at this time. Finally once I was satisfied I had the best possible SD version, I upscaled to 1080p using Topaz. Usually I don't go to 1080 on VHS rips. Trying to upscale that much from a low resolution source almost always leads to undesirable artifacts or a video that looks like bad CGI. I compiled both 720p and 1080p upscales using about 20 different combinations and the 1080p version maintained good fidelity and offered subtle improvements over the 720p. Very confident this is the highest quality version of Pluspy available.

In 1987, several popular car magazines and tuning garages agreed to produce a video of Tsuchiya's drifting skills. The video, known as Pluspy, became a hit and inspired many of the professional drifting drivers on the circuits today.

How about this for something different, yet impossibly Japanese. On my latest trip to Osaka this wild E24 from Coutner Japan was one car that I had high on my list of rides to shoot. The big coupe is one of my favorite from BMW and what Watanabe-san, the owner and the man behind the brand, has done is simply stunning. Injecting some E9 CSL Group 5 vibes into the 635CSi has turned it into something very soecial.

Welcome back! Always good to see you returning for another video. This was filmed at a few of my favorite tracks with my favorite people. Most of this took place at USAir Motorsports in Shawano, Wisconsin at ClubFR drift days. Nate from Villains Sportsland was kind enough to bring me out to Walla Walla, Washington to film a great event out there. The stuff I didn't include in the cozy video is here. Drift Team Ghost went to gridlife at Road America for the summer apex event so I tagged along for a very brief visit. Maybe this year they'll allow me to film from somewhere remotely close to the track. It was good to leave however as Drift Indy hosted their Street League event that same weekend and it was nice seeing those guys shred the Roller Coaster of love. The full comp is in here and you will enjoy it. Wrapping up the 2024 season I went down to Jimmy's Knuckle Up event in Houston, Texas. Sure, it's actually New Caney but you've probably never heard of it. It's a nice place with a lot in common with the home track here in Wisconsin. This has ended up being the largest project I've put together so far and the time in between videos reflects that.

This shoot was definitely fun but also challenging as I have been working hard to learn more about how to properly shoot at night. Although it provides it truly beautiful look finding lighting, proper exposure, etc truly make you have to work hard to think about every little aspect

The perfect homage to a legend; Ayrton Senna.

Many people don't know, but by chance, Senna, was given a drive of the Honda NSX Prototype back in 1989 where he advised Honda engineer's of changes that needed to be made. Honda listened with one of the biggest changes being stiffening the over chassis rigidity by 50%.

Roland has built upon an amazing base and truly made a car that Senna would be proud of.

Starting in the 1950s, Chrysler set out to disrupt the automotive industry with a multimillion-dollar turbine research program. This documentary produced by the Hagerty Drivers Foundation chronicles those efforts and is told from the point of view of the engineers and mechanics that were responsible for the futuristic jet-engine automotive program as well as the historians like Steve Lehto (@stevelehto), Jay Leno (@jaylenosgarage), and Mark Olson (@turbinecar) that have spent decades researching this incredible aspect of American car history.

Mark Olson’s family was one of just 203 that were lucky enough to get the keys to a Chrysler Turbine Car from 1963-1966 as part of Chrysler’s incredible user test program. He drove one of the 55 Italian-bodied Turbine user test cars as a 16 year old and recounts the life-changing experience.

Hear how engineers from modern day turbine manufacturer Williams International have volunteered to work with original Chrysler old timers to help save Jay Leno’s Turbine Car, one of the last running examples from the Chrysler user test program.

This documentary was done in conjunction with the inclusion of Stahl's Automotive Collection's Turbine car (@stahlsauto9002) on the National Historic Vehicle Register in 2022. Along with Jay’s car, it is one of only 9 of those 55 user test cars to still exist and the documentary features a close look at what makes it so special. Through the National Historic Vehicle Register, the Turbine’s history will be documented and kept in the Library of Congress in perpetuity.
