On January 28, 2026, a federal judge issued critical rulings in the case of Valve Corporation v. Rothschild, finding that Rothschild and his company, Display Technologies, breached a 2016 Global Settlement and License Agreement by suing Valve in 2022. The court also confirmed that Valve has the right to pursue claims under the Washington Patent Troll Protection Act, rejecting the defense that only the Attorney General could bring such actions. With a jury trial scheduled in a few weeks to determine damages and personal liability, this case could establish a major precedent for how the tech industry handles bad-faith patent assertions.

Merry Christmas! I've realized in process of making this, that the bullets fired are actually the *entire* bullet, so uh...please suspend your disbelief and adopt a Cave Johnson-like mentality - you get 65% more bullet per bullet.

This project served as a playground for me to learn and tackle a lot of the post production work involved in content creation. That meant properly using EXR's, color grading (as poor of a job in that department as I did), and of course, re-rendering things over and over again because graphical artifacts are a thing. I am happy that this is finally complete, I can finally rest.
